Key product features
- NBR nitrile rubber construction → Matches the product-contact material to the intended medium.
- Application focus: oily and fatty products and selected hydrocarbons → Supports targeted material selection instead of a generic hose choice.
- Peristaltic product containment → Keeps the process liquid inside the replaceable pumping element.
- Replaceable wear component → Simplifies routine maintenance and spare-parts planning.
- No mechanical seal in the product path → Reduces potential leakage points around rotating seals.
- Material-specific chemical resistance → Helps protect tube or hose life when compatibility is confirmed.
- Suitable for controlled dosing and transfer → Supports repeatable peristaltic pumping behaviour.
- Compatibility depends on pump model → Prevents incorrect use across different realAx sizes.
- Operating conditions affect service life → Encourages correct pressure, speed and temperature selection.
- AxFlow selection support → Helps confirm medium, pump and pumping-element compatibility.
realAx NBR Hose is a replaceable pumping element for realAx peristaltic pumps and is intended for oily and fatty products and selected hydrocarbons. Because the process liquid is contained within the hose, the material of the inner product-contact layer is a central selection factor for chemical compatibility, hygiene and wear resistance.
The pumping element is manufactured from NBR nitrile rubber and is repeatedly compressed during pump operation. This allows the peristaltic pump to move the medium without mechanical seals in the product path. The material is particularly relevant for selected hydrocarbon-containing media.
The identification colour is red. These values describe the published material or product range and must be considered together with the selected pump model, speed and process conditions.
Service life depends strongly on pressure, speed, temperature, chemistry and solids. Not a universal choice for every solvent or chemical. AxFlow can help confirm pump-model compatibility and the most suitable hose or tube material so maintenance intervals and lifecycle cost can be managed predictably.
