realAx NORPRENE A60F Tube is a replaceable pumping element for realAx peristaltic pumps and is intended for food and low-pressure chemical duties including CIP-compatible applications. Because the process liquid is contained within the tube, the material of the inner product-contact layer is a central selection factor for chemical compatibility, hygiene and wear resistance.
The pumping element is manufactured from Norprene A60F thermoplastic and is repeatedly compressed during pump operation. This allows the peristaltic pump to move the medium without mechanical seals in the product path. The material is particularly relevant for APY, ISI and selected IP models.
The published temperature range is up to +120 °C. The published pressure limit is 2 bar. These values describe the published material or product range and must be considered together with the selected pump model, speed and process conditions.
