realAx SOLVA Tube is a replaceable pumping element for realAx peristaltic pumps and is intended for solvents, aromatic oils, petroleum compounds and inks. Because the process liquid is contained within the tube, the material of the inner product-contact layer is a central selection factor for chemical compatibility, hygiene and wear resistance.
The pumping element is manufactured from PVC-based Solva and is repeatedly compressed during pump operation. This allows the peristaltic pump to move the medium without mechanical seals in the product path. The material is particularly relevant for solvent-resistant APY duties.
The published temperature range is -10 to +70 °C. The published pressure limit is 2 bar. These values describe the published material or product range and must be considered together with the selected pump model, speed and process conditions.
Service life depends strongly on pressure, speed, temperature, chemistry and solids. Available only for apy; chemical compatibility must be checked.
