Product Description

The ST valves are of simple and reliable design, diaphragm valves offer secure operation with full leaktight at the plant. The maintenance, when required, is limited to the replacement of the diaphragm, the bolted bonnet design permits to dismantle the valve without removing the valve body from the pipe work.

DIAVAL ST is used for bidirectional isolation of aggressive and abrasive liquids in industrial piping. Its straight-through design is useful where an open flow path is important. The valve is intended for shut-off rather than flow regulation.
DIAVAL ST uses a straight-through body without a raised weir, while DIAVAL W uses a weir-type body. ST is primarily intended for isolation, whereas W can also be used for throttling. AxFlow can help select the correct type for the application.
DIAVAL ST is offered with multiple body, lining and diaphragm material combinations. Current COMEVAL documentation includes PFA, FEP and ETFE linings together with several elastomer and PTFE diaphragm options. Material selection must be checked against the actual process medium and operating conditions.
Current COMEVAL documentation lists DIAVAL ST from DN15 to DN300. Connection and body details vary by configuration. AxFlow can help confirm the required size, material and connection arrangement.
The diaphragm is the main process wear component and is replaced when required. The bolted bonnet design allows access without removing the valve body from the pipeline. AxFlow can assist with diaphragm identification, spare parts and service planning.
