Mono EZstrip Transfer Pump is retained as an installed-base page for customers operating existing equipment in wastewater, sludge, chemical and industrial transfer duties. The key purchasing question is now whether to maintain the installed unit, rebuild it with the correct wear parts or move to the current Scion generation. AxFlow supports that decision using the pump identity, duty point and actual process conditions.
The split-coupling and maintain-in-place arrangement allows the drive train, rotor, stator and sealing components to be serviced while the suction and discharge pipework remain connected. That service concept can reduce labour and dismantling work, but only when the correct rotor-stator combination, elastomer and sealing arrangement are identified for the installed model.
Published data for the classic EZstrip Transfer platform reaches up to 225 m³/h, 12 bar and -10 to 100 °C. The design was also used for retrofit into selected Compact C installations. NOV now positions EZstrip Scion as the next-generation platform, with shorter, lighter components and revised stator technology.
AxFlow continues to support existing EZstrip Transfer pumps with service and spare parts where available. If the customer wants to replace the installed pump, AxFlow can assess an EZstrip Scion configuration, but replacement should be verified against flow, pressure, dimensions, pipe connections, materials, motor arrangement and maintenance access rather than treated as an automatic drop-in swap.
