Lightnin Nettco I is used in general chemical, beverage, coating, plastics and OEM mixing duties when one mixer platform must cover clamp-on, open-tank or sealed configurations with straightforward reconfiguration. For engineers, buyers and maintenance teams, the key question is not only mixer power but whether the selected drive, shaft, impeller and mounting arrangement will create the required circulation, shear, suspension or dispersion in the actual vessel.
The product is built around a modular lightweight aluminium design with proven planetary gearing, multiple mounting options and direct- or gear-drive arrangements. This construction allows the mixer to be configured around vessel geometry, fluid properties, duty cycle and the process objective instead of treating all mixing duties as the same application.
Current Nettco i-Series literature covers tanks from about 0.1 to 20 m³, motors from 0.37 to 2.2 kW and shaft lengths up to 2,100 mm, with multiple impeller styles. These verified characteristics should be used together with tank dimensions, liquid density and viscosity, solids or gas loading, operating temperature and required batch result when selecting the final configuration. AxFlow can help check the duty and identify the correct Lightnin configuration.
The modular format allows mounting changes without replacing the complete mixer, while standardized components and service kits simplify maintenance and spares planning. Correct selection also supports predictable spare-parts planning and reduces the risk of downtime caused by under-sized mechanical components or an impeller that does not match the process.
