Andritz Ritz MP Series is intended for industrial processes where a conventional single-stage pump cannot provide the required pressure or delivery head. Typical media include cold and hot water, condensate, deionized water, oils and slightly contaminated suspensions in power, process-water and other industrial systems.
The MP series uses a horizontal multistage design with closed radial impellers and external bearing assemblies on both sides. Axial thermal expansion of the rotor is absorbed internally without affecting coupling alignment, and bearings and the shaft seal can be serviced without dismantling the main pump body.
ANDRITZ technical data lists flow up to 400 m³/h, head up to 950 m, pressure up to 100 bar, temperature up to 160 °C and power up to 600 kW for the MP series. The product documentation describes a strict modular system covering several mechanical sizes and hydraulic systems for different duty requirements.
The modular construction can reduce component variety, while external bearings and service access help shorten maintenance interventions on process-critical high-pressure pumps.
