Andritz Ritz SW Series is used for wet-installed sewage transport in municipal and industrial wastewater systems, pumping stations and sumps. The family is relevant where solids, fibers or aerated wastewater require an impeller and installation arrangement selected to the actual sludge or sewage characteristics.
The SW series is a single-stage, submersible close-coupled pump with a pressure-water-tight motor. Different installation arrangements and impeller types are available, allowing the hydraulic path to be adapted to the wastewater, and explosion-proof ATEX execution is available for correctly specified hazardous-area applications.
Current ANDRITZ data lists flow up to 2,600 m³/h, head up to 80 m, pressure up to 10 bar and temperature up to 40 °C for the SW series. The manufacturer describes the range as wet-installed sewage pumps with various impeller types and different installation options.
Installing the pump directly in the sump can reduce the need for a separate dry pump room, while correct impeller selection can reduce blockage and wear.
