Description

The Vaisala WINDCAP® ultrasonic wind sensor WMT700 series is a robust and reliable ultrasonic anemometer. It measures surface wind, speed and direction, which are some of the key parameters in meteorology and aviation. WMT700 satisfies updated WMO-No. 8 guide, 7th edition - and ICAO requirements.

The WMT700 series has a durable steel structure with welded arms, clear north indicator and single-point bayonet-type mounting. It has no moving parts and is resistant to contaminants and corrosion.

It measures accurately and provides reliable data in harsh wind and climate conditions without periodic maintenance. Self-diagnosis and validation of measurements are standard.
