realAx APY is used where small quantities of liquid must be dosed or transferred with stable control at low pressure. The series is relevant for water and wastewater treatment, food and chemical processes, laboratory duties and other applications where the pumped liquid should remain isolated inside the tube. This makes it useful for abrasive, viscous or shear-sensitive media when process reliability and simple handling are important.

The pump operates on the peristaltic positive-displacement principle. A rotor with three rollers compresses and releases the tube, creating suction behind the roller and moving the liquid towards the outlet without valves or mechanical seals in the product path. Because the liquid only contacts the tube, material selection can be matched to the medium and tube replacement can be carried out quickly during maintenance.

The APY range covers accurate dosing of small volumes up to 90 l/h, equal to 1500 ml/min, with operating pressure up to 2 bar. AxFlow product data also identifies reversible rotation, high dosing accuracy, different tube diameters and sanitary tube options to FDA requirements. These verified features make the series suitable for low-pressure dosing duties where repeatability, product containment and easy installation matter.

For maintenance teams, the main value is the simple tube-pump construction.
