Grundfos SMART Digital XL DDA

Grundfos SMART Digital XL DDA is intended for accurate, repeatable addition of liquid chemicals. This matters in water treatment and industrial chemical feed where changing backpressure, interrupted suction or incorrect chemical addition can affect downstream quality and operating cost. The DDA is the advanced-control option in the higher-capacity SMART Digital XL family and is relevant when chemical dosing must also be supervised, not merely adjusted. A motor-driven diaphragm meters liquid using controlled movement rather than conventional stroke-length adjustment. DDA offers manual, pulse and analogue dosing, plus batch and timer modes. In the DDA-FCM variant, FlowControl fault diagnosis, pressure monitoring, integrated flow measurement and AutoFlowAdapt provide additional feedback; these features must not be assumed for every DDA control variant. The family includes the 60-10, 120-7 and 200-4 duty points (capacity in l/h and maximum pressure in bar); these are alternatives, not simultaneous maximums. Dosing heads are offered in PVC, PVDF and stainless steel 1.4401, with gasket choices including EPDM, FKM and PTFE. Exact wetted materials, valve design and permissible pressure require confirmation against the full pump code.
