Semi-Skilled Fitter

JOB TITLE: Semiskilled Fitter
LOCATION: Huddersfield

JOB PURPOSE: 
To service and prepare for repair works on hygienic and industrial pumps.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Attend workshop promptly
• To strip, clean and identify repairs on customer pumps
• To recommend necessary repairs, to identify all parts required to complete the repair, for a quote to 
be prepared by the internal sales team 
• To set up testing of pumping equipment when required
• To complete timesheets to enable time worked to be allocated to specific jobs correctly
• General workshop duties including drilling, tapping and basic bench fitting
• Work to the instructions of the Workshop Supervisor
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations at base and on site. Seek guidance where necessary
• Any other relevant & reasonable duties that may be requested by the Workshop Supervisor and Base 
Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NECCESSARY:
• Previous experience working as a semi-skilled fitter
• Knowledge of pumps
• Full clean driving licence
