Semi-Skilled Fitter
Semi-Skilled Fitter – Huddersfield
AxFlow is looking for a Semi-Skilled Fitter to join our Northern Service Centre. This is a hands-on role where you’ll assist with servicing and preparing equipment for repair, supporting the workshop team to keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do:
- Strip, clean, and assess equipment for repair
- Recommend necessary repairs and identify parts for the internal sales team to quote
- Assist with setting up and testing equipment
- Carry out general workshop duties including drilling, tapping, and bench fitting
- Support collection and delivery of equipment when needed
The ideal candidate has previous mechanical experience, a hands-on, proactive approach, and is comfortable working in a busy workshop environment.
