Workshop Fitter – Huddersfield
AxFlow is looking for an experienced mechanical fitter with hands-on experience working on pumps and rotating equipment to join our Northern Service Centre in Huddersfield. This is a practical, workshop-based role where your technical skills will ensure customer equipment runs reliably and meets operational standards, with occasional site visits as required.
What You’ll Do:
- Strip, inspect, and report faults on customer pumps and rotating equipment
- Recommend and carry out repairs, identifying all parts needed for quotes
- Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets operational standards
- Carry out general workshop duties including drilling, tapping, and bench fitting
The ideal candidate is confident with pumps and rotating machinery, a hands-on problem solver, and organised in a busy workshop environment.
