Description

APV R1 is intended for hygienic duties where viscosity, shear sensitivity, solids content and differential pressure can make pump selection critical. Typical applications include food, beverage and dairy processes where repeatable displacement and gentle handling help protect product consistency. The rotary-lobe principle moves product through defined cavities and can maintain controlled flow across a broad viscosity range. The selected rotor, seal, speed and product-chamber configuration should be evaluated against the medium and cleaning requirements to avoid excessive shear, wear or inlet losses. For this model, the available performance data specifies a stated maximum capacity of 1.36 m³/h, a stated maximum temperature of 149 °C. These values must be checked together with the complete operating point and the selected execution before final specification.
