Description

APV R2 is intended for process duties where product consistency, gentle handling and reliable displacement are important. Typical selection factors include viscosity, shear sensitivity, solids content, temperature, differential pressure and cleaning requirements. The rotary-lobe principle moves product through the pump in defined cavities, supporting stable flow across a broad viscosity range. The non-contacting pumping elements and hygienic product chamber are configured for process cleaning and service access, subject to the selected execution. For this model, the available performance data specifies a stated maximum capacity of 2 m³/h, a stated maximum temperature of 149 °C. Final suitability must also consider speed, viscosity, inlet conditions, seal arrangement and product characteristics. Positive-displacement sizing helps avoid excessive speed, shear and component loading.
