Description

Pulsafeeder Eclipse E05 is selected for corrosive-liquid transfer and metering duties where leakage control, repeatable positive-displacement flow and service access are important. Typical Eclipse applications include chemical processing, petrochemical service and water treatment, particularly where acids, caustics and other aggressive liquids make conventional shaft seals a maintenance concern. For engineers and maintenance teams, the main decision is to match the pump configuration to the liquid, duty point and required materials. The Eclipse design uses external spur gears with a magnetic coupling, so there is no rotating mechanical shaft seal between the process liquid and atmosphere. Pulsafeeder offers Eclipse in metallic and non-metallic configurations, and the series uses a front pull-out arrangement so internal service can be carried out without removing the connected piping. The pump is bidirectional, which can simplify layout and process integration when the application allows it. For Pulsafeeder Eclipse E05, Pulsafeeder lists flow up to 6.1 l/min and pressure up to 10.3 bar. The Eclipse family is designed for corrosive chemical service; exact wetted materials, temperature limits, viscosity limits, connection type and any drinking-water certification depend on the selected configuration and must be checked against the actual liquid and operating conditions before ordering.
