Description

Varisco V60-2 is used where viscous process liquids must be moved with stable flow, predictable capacity and controlled mechanical treatment. It is suited to industrial transfer duties involving lubricating oils, fuel oil, additives, resins, bitumen-related products, paints, inks, soaps or similar clean liquids where solid bodies must not enter the pump. The Varisco V principle uses an internal gear arrangement with a rotor and idler separated by a crescent. As the gears rotate, liquid is drawn into the gear spaces and displaced to the outlet, creating a smooth positive-displacement flow. This makes the model relevant where flow stability, viscosity handling and process continuity matter more than high-speed centrifugal performance. For this row, Varisco V60-2 is specified with capacity up to 22 m³/h. The working pressure for this model should be confirmed during technical selection because the published row value differs from the broader V-series pressure envelope. The V-series family is used for viscosities from 20 to 60,000 cSt in standard versions, with higher viscosities handled by selection on request, and the series is available for temperatures up to 200 °C or up to 300 °C in high-temperature configuration. The construction supports practical maintenance through selectable sealing arrangements, shaft and bushing material options, axial adjustment and robust bearing support. AxFlow can help confirm the right model, materials, sealing arrangement and operating limits for the duty point, helping maintenance teams reduce misapplication risk, spare-parts uncertainty and unplanned downtime.
