Pulsafeeder Pulsa 8480X is selected for chemical dosing and process injection where a large hydraulic diaphragm metering pump must deliver controlled flow across demanding process conditions. Pulsa Series pumps are used in chemical processing, petrochemical, oil and gas, water and wastewater treatment and power generation. For buyers and engineers, the main task is to select the correct capacity, pressure, wet-end materials and valve arrangement for the chemical and the full operating range. The Pulsa Series uses a hydraulically balanced diaphragm positive-displacement principle. A hydraulic management system supports consistent diaphragm movement, while an internal bypass valve protects the pump during system upset conditions. Depending on configuration, the range can use flat diaphragms or HYDRAtube designs and different valve arrangements for higher flows, slurries or difficult liquid behaviour. For Pulsafeeder Pulsa 8480X, Pulsafeeder lists flow up to 8,676 l/h and pressure up to 250 bar. The series is specified with ±1% steady-state accuracy and compliance with API 675, CE and ATEX.
