Positive displacement pumps (PD) contain an inlet valve that alternately opens and closes, creating an acceleration and deceleration of the liquid into the pump. The patented "J" Model Inlet Stabilizer works to minimize these pressure variations by preventing the separation of the liquid column on the pump inlet. This improved flow to the inlet of the pump effectively increases the service life of all system components at the inlet of the pump.
